Today was the day Mom was supposed to go home but that didn't happen. I really didn't think that today would be a good day but it turned out pretty good. To find out what we did, go here.
I ran across this verse the other day while looking for a card for my friend Mel who recently lost triplets. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalms 34:18 I thought of this verse this evening when I was writing for my Mom's blog. When we first found out that Mom was not going to be released today, we were all brokenhearted and crushed. We had been holding today as a lifeline, it was our light at the end of the tunnel but now we are back to the unknown. We don't know when we will be back to "normal" but we will get through it because our God is an awesome God. Thankfully he never forgets us even though we sometimes forget what he will do for us if we will turn to him.
I hope that everyone has had a good week. I know I have even if it has been a week of hospital schedule (or lack of a schedule) chaos!

I sure do appreciate your faithful comments on my blog...I love that song that I put on there the other day.
I hope you continue to keep your eyes on our Savior...He will carry you through this tough time, but like you said, only if we let Him!
Hope you have a great weekend!
